Privacy policy.
A plain explanation of what I collect, why, and how I handle it. I keep this minimal on purpose.
What I collect
When you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address, project type, and message. I do not ask for any other personal information, and I collect only what I need to respond to your inquiry.
How I use it
Your details are used solely to reply to your inquiry and, if we move forward, to discuss your project. I will not add you to a mailing list or send marketing without your separate, express consent.
Third-party services
This site uses three third-party services. Formspree receives your contact form submission and forwards it to my email. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical and browser information to identify automated submissions. If you choose to allow analytics, Microsoft Clarity records session replays and heatmaps to help me improve the site. Form inputs are masked in Clarity recordings.
Sharing
I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Formspree and Cloudflare receive the information needed to deliver and protect the contact form. Microsoft receives analytics data only if you allow analytics. Each provider handles that data under its own privacy terms.
Cookies and analytics
Analytics stays off until you choose Allow analytics. If you allow it, Microsoft Clarity may use first- and third-party cookies or similar technologies to connect page views and create session replays and heatmaps. Your preference is stored locally in your browser. You can change it at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
Retention
I keep inquiry details only as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, to deliver a project. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have shared with me. To make a request, email hello@ymstudio.ca and I will respond promptly.
